The Coaching & Athlete Development Committee (CADC) oversees the development of triathlon coaching programs and coaching opportunities in the province. The CADC is also committed to working with the KOS Committee to promote athlete development initiatives for all ages and levels of TNS triathletes. The CADC is responsible for determining provincial elite status in accordance with Triathlon Canada guidelines. The committee is the body that evaluates funding requests from TNS athletes seeking funding from TNS, SNS and other sport governing agencies. Initiatives include:

• estalishing a Provincial team to represent Nova Scotia
• offering an annual coacing course
• running a practical coaching series
• developing an athlete development model
