The TNS Provincial Team is a select group of "age-grouper" triathletes who have earned the right to represent Nova Scotia at the Regional and National levels. Traditionally, members of the team have been selected based on their performance in the TNS Provincial Championship (Olympic distance).

TNS Provincial Team members receive a number of benefits including race registration reimbursement from TNS if they compete in the Atlantic Regional Triathlon Championship and Canadian National Triathlon Championship. Eligible athletes who elect to join the team pay a registration fee and receive a Provincial Team Jersey.

Beginning in 2006, positions on the TNS Provincial Team will be earned based on performance in the new TNS Point Series. Additional information on the TNS point series can be found elsewhere on this website.

The 2005/2006 team was chosen at the 2005 provincial championship at Ingonish. The qualifiers were the top 3 male and female and the top male and female in each age group. Any age groups not represented will be awarded to the 2005 TNS Point Series winners.

The 2004/2005 team was chosen at the 2004 provincial championship at Port Hood. The qualifiers were the top 3 male and female and the top male and female in each age group.
