TNS has adopted a point series competition to score and reward athletic performance of each category of age group athletes. The point series judges overall performance during the calendar year of events. The point series competition is open to all age-group members of Triathlon Nova Scotia. Elite athletes are eligible for the open categories of the point series but not the age-group categories. Relay or team entries do not count for points.
